| From the south, follow the M6 north into Scotland, then take the A75 for Dumfries. Follow the A75 all the way to Dunragit, then take a left turning and follow the signs for Drummore. This will join the A768 which passes directly through Ardwell. |

| From the north, follow the A77 down the Ayrshire coast to Stranraer. Follow the A768 out of Stranraer towards Drummore. You will pass through Stoneykirk and past Sand Head before arriving at Ardwell. |
